Some very good news coming out of Leeds this afternoon is that Young full-back Tyler Denton has signed a new 3 year deal with the club. This comes after the youngster scores on his debut at Luton on Tuesday evening.

Denton has captained the under 21s and after an impressive pre-season the news will delight Leeds fans. Denton’s brilliant performance was capped with a glorious goal and many will have taken notice of the young full back.

I think it’s great news for the club and I believe that under Garry Monk he has the opportunity to flourish at Elland Road. He joins Kalvin Phillips, Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Ronaldo Vieira in signing new deals this summer. The news also coincides with the Charlie Taylor transfer saga.

Let’s hope Denton can make a similar impression when he gets his chance as Taylor did a year and a half ago. Mowatt and Coyle next please.
