Leeds are reportedly looking at ex-Manchester United, Aston Villa, West Brom, Fulham, Sunderland and England player Kieran Richardson with the player still looking for a club. Richardson was in a side that was relegated from the Premier League last season but is a player that many Championship clubs have been looking at.

He started his career in Manchester and moved on to other clubs after losing his place at Old Trafford. He began as a winger and has moved back to left-back in recent years. There was a time where the player played off the striker and good form led him to be called up to the England senior squad where he was seen as a wide player.

Richardson is vastly experienced at the highest level in England but where he would play at Leeds is something worth thinking about. Would he be coming in as a left-back or more advanced? whether or not Leeds follow up their reported interest is another story entirely.

About Author

Born in Gibraltar, raised in Scotland from a very young age. Been a huge fan of Leeds United since I could walk and talk, thanks to my Dad, the English half of me. After a few years in Australia I moved to Leeds, the trips from Scotland down to the city a few times a season didn't cut it. Love the city. Love the people, and the 12 hour round trip to Elland Road is about a 20 minute round trip. Love writing about the club, the more I write the more I feel comfortable doing it. As long as it's enjoyable I'll continue to do so, keep looking to step it up and progress as well. Leeds United is more than just a football team for me, as is it with so many others.
