The Guardian is reporting that Leeds have rejected three bids of £7 million from Middlesbrough, Crystal palace and West Brom today. The news comes as Taylor is out through injury and has been for a few weeks. The Guardian are normally a reliable source and this is a big statement from Leeds United.
In today’s market Charlie Taylor is well worth the £7 million price-tag but Leeds are holding out for what seems to be the summer. Taylor will leave on a free transfer but it seems the possibility of Leeds making the play-offs is a stronger incentive for the football club, a refreshing and positive move from the club.
West Brom have been sniffing around Taylor for a while now but the other two clubs have joined the party and will be looking at Taylors contract situation as good news as they look to molester their squads ahead of the relegation battle they are currently in. West Brom are the highest of the three and are having a good season.
