It seems a while ago that we beat Barnsley at Elland Road. Kyle Bartley and Pablo Hernandez scored goals in a 2-1 win as Leeds swapped places with Barnsley in the league. Leeds will now look to put the pressure back on the top two again with another win.
Charlie Taylor and Pontus Jansson are both out and Liam Cooper is touch and go. That probably means we will see the same team as last week, Ayling and Bartley flanked by Coyle and Berardi. Vieira should partner skipper Liam Bridcutt with the same front four. All is quiet on the Sacko injury front and O’Kane is back after making the bench last week.
Barnsley will be like a wounded animal tomorrow. Conor Hourihane is on the brink of leaving as the Roberts and there is talk over Bree. Winnall has departed for pennies, Wednesday bagging him for a ridiculously low fee. The home fans will be keen to make sure we know they are there, a big Derby for both teams but when Leeds come to town we know the atmosphere will be lively. If the players stay focused then we win this game, if it gets scrappy it’s 50/50.
One to watch – Adam Armstrong – Hasn’t kicked on after a good start to the season.
