Leeds recruitment in the academy has been better this year than many previous combined. The youngsters have always come through ranks of local sides but actually attracting other players into the setup hasn’t always been easy. Today Leeds have added yet another new player, Bryce Hosannah.
The young right-back has been with the Crystal Palace academy in recent years and was looking for a new club, Leeds happy to play him in a recent game to see how he does. He has today confirmed via his twitter account that he has penned a deal with Leeds and he is very excited about the new challenge. The club have been recruiting heavily with the youth sides depleted in recent years, a lot of the players breaking onto the first-team or moving on.
So far this summer Leeds have recruited Kun, Adrian Baloboa and Oriol Rey from Barcelona, Ousama Siddiki from Real Madrid along with Alejandro Machuca and that adds to some of the talent already there. Hosannah will slot into a side that lacks defenders and will play alongside Rey, the 19-year-old Barcelona lad who signed a two-year-deal with the club two weeks ago. The recruitment is set to continue under Victor Orta and Ivan Bravo who seem to have their finger on the pulse.
