Norwich are reportedly interested in Leeds winger Stuart Dallas according to Phil Hay. The Norfolk club are having problems finding players to fit into their wing-back roles of the new 3-5-2 system and Dallas is maybe seen as a perfect player for those positions.
Stuart Dallas has forced his way back into the plans at Leeds United under Thomas Christiansen and it would be a surprise if he was to leave the club, especially at this stage of the transfer window. Leeds have a lack of wingers in reality, Hadi Sacko nowhere to be seen on Tuesday but he isn’t injured, just left out after a very poor start to the season. Kemar Roofe started up front against Newport and will be wondering if that is where he is set to play after his performance. That only leaves Stuart Dallas and Ezgjan Alioski.
Dallas joined Leeds from Brentford two years ago for a fee in the region of £1.6 million and got off to a good start under Uwe Rosler. He tailed off after a gruelling summer with Northern Ireland last summer at Euro 2016 and he didn’t really recover from that as the season went on. He played here and there but has already looked much better in pre-season and indeed at the start of the season. I don’t think selling him would benefit us at all as it stands unless we are planning on brining in another winger before the end of the window.
