As sure as the sun rises every morning Leeds have had more fixtures moved by Sky Sports in the coming months. It’s the same every year, and now 4 games have been effected by the changes for TV.
Fixture Changes
Leeds vs Sheffield United – Friday 27th October – 7:45pm KO (LIVE)
Brentford vs Leeds – Saturday 4th November – 5:20pm KO (LIVE)
Middlesbrough vs Leeds – Sunday 19th November – 1:15pm KO (LIVE)
Wolves vs Leeds – Wednesday 22nd November – 7:45pm KO (NOT ON TV)
The Wolves fixture has been changed due to the game at Middlesbrough on the Sunday, which gives us the extra day before the game, with Wolves still playing on the Saturday. The other games are all against sides which will probably make entertaining fixtures. Brentford have had a very poor start to the season and today sold their best player to Birmingham, Jota joining team-mate Harlee Dean at the Blues.
Sheffield United is a Yorkshire Derby, that fixture isn’t a surprise and Middlesbrough has its own pull now, Sky not only to make a big deal of Garry Monk but both sides are probably going to be battling at the top end judging by Leeds’ early season form and Boro spending so much money this summer. When the next set of fixtures are released, expect a handful of Leeds fixtures to be on there again.
