Having only written two articles so far for PAS, I’m going to sound like a broken record continuing to speak about the transfer window, but as we all know, it’s an incredibly important time which deserves a lot of attention and a lot of opinions.

I don’t think I need to say who these two men are, but incase anyone is wondering who it is, then it is the Spanish-Macedonian duo of Samuel Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski. These two men are some of the most important players Leeds have signed in a very long time, and looking at how quickly they’ve adapted to English football, definitely a couple of the best. The two men have scored 10 goals between them and have rarely seen the bench at all this season (bar the exception of the Carabao Cup, and Saiz still managed to bag a hat-trick on his debut) These two men are two of the most, if not the most important men on the pitch, especially going forward. And if we can see their ability, then that means every other team in England, and the world can see it too.

Now, just because they joined in the summer, it doesn’t mean that other teams can’t stake their claim and try to swoop one, or even both of the duo, and from a fans point of view, that can not happen under any circumstance. If I could, I’d lock them both underground and make them disappear off the radar for the whole month to ensure no one goes anywhere near them. Not for one second do I think either of them are going to go, they are far too important for any of the back room staff to consider a move for either player, unless a very, very, VERY good offer comes in. Are they the only important players we have? Not at all. Are they are biggest asset for the attack? I’d say so. The Leeds attack is shaping up to a very strong one, but some tweaking can be done, especially with our main striker. But no matter what happens, we NEED these men in the fold to make our attack the best it can.

This wasn’t an article instigating the idea of the two leaving, it was about the importance of making sure they stay firmly locked inside ER and keep fighting by our side to get us back to the place we most rightfully belong.

Does anyone believe there is a chance of one, or both of the two being swooped this window? Or are they both staying exactly where they are? Let us know in the comments.

About Author

Born in Gibraltar, raised in Scotland from a very young age. Been a huge fan of Leeds United since I could walk and talk, thanks to my Dad, the English half of me. After a few years in Australia I moved to Leeds, the trips from Scotland down to the city a few times a season didn't cut it. Love the city. Love the people, and the 12 hour round trip to Elland Road is about a 20 minute round trip. Love writing about the club, the more I write the more I feel comfortable doing it. As long as it's enjoyable I'll continue to do so, keep looking to step it up and progress as well. Leeds United is more than just a football team for me, as is it with so many others.
