Paul Heckingbottom really doesn’t want to be losing this game but the opponents have so much to play for and the Leeds United players have made it very clear they don’t feel like they have anything to play for anymore. I expect a few changes from the Aston Villa defeat and a much better performance, but to be honest I expect nothing but a defeat the way things have been going, the summer can’t come soon enough.

GK – Baily Peacock-Farrell – He’s getting to the stage where he looks more than capable of being the number one going forward into next season.

RB – Stuart Dallas – We have little option in the full-back areas and Anita is on his way it would seem. Dallas has been doing okay defensively but going forward he’s been very poor.

CB – Paudie O’Connor – A shining light in recent weeks. The Irish defender has been very good since he came into the side.

CB – Matthew Pennington – Really hasn’t been good enough but another case of needs must for us at the moment.

LB – Tom Pearce – the best outfield player in a Leeds shirt at Villa Park and will surely keep his place tomorrow.

RW – Gjanni Alioski – A chance for Alioksi to get forward rather than defend. He will be judged on next season, has had an okay season.

CM – Ronaldo Vieira – Has hardly put a foot wrong since he came back into the side, needs another big game tomorrow.

CM – Pablo Hernandez – I still think Hernandez should be played deeper in these games, get him on the ball and get us going.

LW – Jack Clarke – Get him in and give him a go. We don’t have enough first-team players who deserve to start the game.

CAM – Samu Saiz – If anyone was due a good game, it’s Samu Saiz.

ST – Kemar Roofe – The top scorer this season, Ekuban and Lasogga can’t score a goal between them so start Roofe.

About Author

Born in Gibraltar, raised in Scotland from a very young age. Been a huge fan of Leeds United since I could walk and talk, thanks to my Dad, the English half of me. After a few years in Australia I moved to Leeds, the trips from Scotland down to the city a few times a season didn't cut it. Love the city. Love the people, and the 12 hour round trip to Elland Road is about a 20 minute round trip. Love writing about the club, the more I write the more I feel comfortable doing it. As long as it's enjoyable I'll continue to do so, keep looking to step it up and progress as well. Leeds United is more than just a football team for me, as is it with so many others.
