Aside from an official announcement, it looks like Leeds United have the deal for Spanish striker Rodrigo Moreno all but sewn-up and in the bag. A deal that will make Leeds United fans smile…hopefully.
According to sources in Valencia, Rodrigo’s fee will be £27million plus add-ons. #LUFC

It’s been a whirlwind of a deal to be made and has been driven by Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta who were both said to be in Valencia and pushing for a deal with the cashflow-plagued La Liga side. Anyway, that’s been done and is a deal that is out of the way and soon to be announced.
Which means that other deals are in the shop window so-to-speak. There are deals out there that the Whites still think that they can sign off on according to Phil Hay writing in his Athletic column this morning. Hay specifically points out that Bielsa likes to get players in so that they can get into training and up to speed with his system.
That’s all by-the-by though; what fans want to know about are names. Hay says that United are confident of bringing two players in. One is Robin Koch from Freiburg who Hay writes Leeds engaged with “more seriously” over the past weekend. Koch is though keen to give English football a go. The other is Ryan Kent at Rangers. Leeds have had a £10m bid rebuffed by the Glasgow giants but Hay adds that “Leeds believe they are in a position to get that deal done.”
‘Side before Self’ – an ethos that runs through the core of Leeds United. It appears that ‘Quality before Quantity’ is another epithet which is quickly summing up transfer thinking at Elland Road.
