It was something we touched upon here on Peacock and Smiley a few days back, initial interest in the wonderfully-named Crysencio Summerville of Feyenoord. It all came from this tweet:

Translated, the tweet says: “Crysencio Summerville can go to Leeds United. The attacker is allowed to leave Feyenoord and the English club from the Premier League is negotiating with Feyenoord about the transfer fee for the 18-year-old player.”

The young winger, who is a product of the Feyenoord youth system, spent last season out on loan at ADO Den Haag where he gained valuable, first-team experience. He featured in 22 games for the Dutch side last season, scoring 2 goals and creating 3 assists.

He’s also on-fire for the Netherland’s Under-19 side as well. Since graduating up to that age group, the 18-year old has featured in five games for them, scoring 6 goals and adding 3 assists. Many are touting him to explode onto the international scene as he continues to improve.

The noise around social media seems to indicate that he’s heading to Elland Road.
