It was meant to be a deal that was near enough over the line to be causing merriment amongst the Leeds United fanbase. Not quite ‘in-the-bag’ but ever so close to being so. However, it’s gone all Dan James for the Whites and Michael Cuisance.
Sky in Germany reporting that Cuisance move has fallen through. Waiting for news at this end. Very strange. Rummenigge was saying his goodbyes to Cuisance on Instagram yesterday. https://t.co/or2n7SOoGR

Cuisance is a 21-year-old France Under-20 international with 7 caps and 3 goals to his name. He established himself in the Strasbourg youth set-up before a move to Nancy in 2014. It was from Nancy to Borussia Monchengladbach in 2017 and a near-£11m move to Bayern Munich in mid-August last year. He made 9 appearances for Bayern last season, scoring one goal and providing 1 assist.
Leeds United were said to optimistic in landing the French youngster. Bayern luminary Karl-Heinz Rummenigge had said his goodbyes to the youngster on Instagram. A deal was in place, terms agreed and Bayern were said to have a buy-back option; all looked good and rosey.
However, for from the sweet smell of roses and more an aroma of what makes them grow quicker, everything on this deal seems to have gone to pot. In scenes reminiscent of the Dan James debacle, it appears that this is one deal that has gone down the pan.
