Leeds are chasing the Hamburg striker Pierre-Michel Lassoga in an attempt to provide more attacking options in the final third according to The Yorkshire Evening Post.
The German striker is one of the high earners at the German side but they are willing to let him leave. The money for the player doesn’t seem to be the issue, only the wages, but as we have seen this summer players do want to come to Leeds, and with our connections and good start to the season this deal may well be possible. His scoring record isn’t prolific but he is playing at a very good level and you’d think he would score goals in the Championship.
Lassoga is a German striker who has played for the likes of Leverkusen and Wolfsburg and youth level before joining Hertha Berlin and signing for Hamburg. He has also been capped various times at under 21 level for the German national side and you would have to say if Leeds could get this deal done it would stand out. Leeds already convinced Werder Bremen’s number one to join the club this summer and it seems we are trying to get another from the Bundesliga.
