Ohi Omoijuanfo

With Leeds now involving Victor Orta and his wide scouting network into incoming transfers, Leeds may look abroad to replace Wood. Ohi Omoijuanfo currently plays his trade in the Norwegian top tier with Stabaek, and had a very successful campaign last season. Despite only being 23 years old, Omoijuanfo was Stabaek’s top scorer last term scoring 14 goals in just 20 appearances- in a season which saw Stabaek narrowly avoid relegation, after escaping via a relegation play-off. Omoijuanfo’s performances were not unnoticed by his national side either, with Norway awarding him his first international cap mid way through the season.

Although Omoijuanfo may be seen as a cheaper option, Orta’s foreign additions to the squad have adapted to life in the Championship extremely quickly and will only get better, so he clearly knows a good player when he sees one. Because of that it would not be a surprise if Omoijuanfo or another foreign number nine was to come in to replace Wood.
