An interesting team selection for what is a very awkward game today. Ronaldo Vieira isn’t fit after the bad tackle at Burton Albion, Eunan O’Kane must have picked up and injury which sees Mateusz Klich return to the squad for the first team in months. Youngster Conor Shaughnessy starts in the middle of the pitch.
Leeds Team To Play Birmingham City
GK – Felix Wiedwald – Keeps his place, very impressive at the moment.
RB – Luke Ayling – I, like many feel he needs a rest, but continues a remarkable run that has seen him start every competitive game this season.
CB – Pontus Jansson – The best form he’s in since last season.
CB – Liam Cooper – You wouldn’t break up the central defensive pairing at the moment.
LB – Gaetano Berardi (c) – Up against Jota today, key area of the pitch.
CM – Conor Shaughnessy – An interesting choice. Has his work cut out today with his first senior start in central midfield.
CM – Kalvin Phillips – Back into the side after starting on the bench at Burton.
RW – Pawel Cibicki – Needs to be more up for this than Burton, really struggled to get into that game.
CAM – Pablo Hernandez – Has come up with two magic moments in the last couple of games.
LW – Gjanni Alioksi – Would like to see him be more direct today, can really exploit the Blues defence.
ST – Kemar Roofe – Bang in form, give him the chances and he should take them.
