Leeds have been linked with a move for Blackburn Rovers highly rated midfielder Bradley Dack. With 12 goals already this season the player is attracting interest from the likes of Aston Villa and Cardiff City, the Bluebirds already having a bid turned down according to the Express.
The 24-year-old has been making a name for himself at League One level for a few years, banging in the goals for Gillingham before earning a move to relegated Blackburn Rovers for around £750k. He hit the ground running and is now attracting interest from some of the big clubs in the Championship. Rumours are that a bid of around £4 million went in from Cardiff City but it was knocked back, so you would normally expect us to be blown out of the water but as we saw last week there is money to spend. I would be surprised if we signed an attacking midfielder when we need a striker but you never know, and we were all surprised when the Forshaw deal emerged.
Dack is certainly a very good player at League One level and the fees for players at that level seem to be ridiculous at the moment. Jack Marriott, a player linked with Leeds in recent weeks is said to be valued at £6 million and Marcus Maddison, another at Posh is not far behind. Whether or not there is any interest in Dack from Leeds remains to be seen, we seem to be getting linked with a new player every few days but one thing we do know for certain, we need some new players in otherwise the season could be heading south. One point from twelve before the toughest month of the season has exposed us.
