Look, things do annoy us. I get annoyed at people termed as a ‘celebrity’; most of the time that phrase is followed swiftly by ‘Who are they? What have they done?’. Leeds United fans will be getting riled at ‘Ryan Kent’ stories. Apologies in advance.
Marcelo Bielsa is a long-term admirer of the Rangers flier and the Whites were heavily linked with the former Liverpool winger before Stevie G took him to Ibrox as part of an old pal’s pact. The Whites haven’t forgotten him, though.
This season has seen them put in a £10m offer (£8.5m bid with £1.5m add-ons) as they look to bring the much-appreciated youngster back to English football and the Premier League. It was rebuffed, of course, by Rangers who do not want to lose one of their key players.
However, after helping Rangers remain top of the SPL by virtue of a 2-0 win over Hamilton Academicals, Kent spoke to the Press.
Leeds still keen to add a winger. Kent still among their options. https://t.co/wjXrVNm8Cv

It’s almost like there is a hint of doubt in there, that Kent is wondering whether Leeds United will be back in with a second bid to really test Rangers resolve to keep him. The loyalty seems there to stay, it’s the uncertainty about the phrase ‘Where my future takes me’ that is more the issue.
Leeds United are being tipped by some to be readying a second bid for him; that future could very well see him land at Elland Road.
