Transfers and Leeds United fans do not often make the best bedfellows, usually. However, the arrivals of Rodrigo Moreno and Robin Koch have seen fans somewhat spoiled.
Further down the ladder, Leeds United have also made high-profile signings for the Under-23s with the likes of Crysencio Summerville, Cody Drameh and Joe Gelhardt have been snapped up on the back of Premier League promotion. The thing is, they have other irons in the fire, big ones, and the transfer fires are still being stoked up.
Leeds are still in talks for Rodrigo de Paul. “If the right bid will not be made [by #LUFC], he’d be also happy to stay here”, Udinese director Marino said.
Leeds also made a new bid [until June 2024]to Gvardiol to reach an agreement on personal terms. He’s not convinced yet ⚪️

The two ‘big’ deals that Leeds United are said to be involved in are for Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul and Dinamo Zagreb’s teen defender Josko Gvardiol. These are tow ‘deals’ that follow the usual trajectory that Leeds United fans are more accustomed to – delay and confusion.
The De Paul tussle sees the Whites said to be unwilling to meet Udinese’s €40m asking price, thus creating an impasse. Saying that respected Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano (above), says that Leeds are still involved in talks. He adds that the Whites have also advanced a new offer to highly-rated defender Gvardiol as they look to tie up personal terms for the youngster.
