According to respected French journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi on Twitter (tweet – below), Leeds United are angling for a move at Toulouse’s 19-year-old midfield prospect Koudio ‘Manu’ Kone.
#Leeds positioned itself on #Toulouse prospect Manu # Koné. Discussions with the player’s entourage. Marcelo Bielsa must now position himself on this track. AC Milan are also interested, as are several English clubs. #LUFC

Kone joined Toulouse from ACBB Youth in 2016 ,a year after signing from Paris FC Youth. The five-cap France Under-18 international made the step up the Toulouse’s B side in 2018, a step up to the first team coming last July. He’s made 20 appearances for Toulouse’s first-team and has scored a single goal, this coming in the Coupe de Ligue against Lyon in a 4-1 loss.
Leeds United have brought in a number of players to the club this window from the high-profile arrivals of Rodrigo Moreno and Robin Koch to the lesser-heralded signings of players like Cody Drameh and Joe Gelhardt who have joined the Under-21s/23s at Elland Road.
The Whites are also said to still be involved in talks with Josko Gvardiol and Rodrigo de Paul as two further headline transfers, this interest seemingly ongoing. It seems that Kouadio Kone can be added to that list of players that the Whites are angling for.
